Fragaria
SpumantieraChampagne cooler
Fragaria è una spumantiera per cinque bottiglie, realizzata a mano dal maestro Shuji Nakagawa con l’antichissima tecnica Oke.
Il perimetro del contenitore è scandito da cinque solchi che offrono un naturale punto di appoggio al collo di altrettante bottiglie. La corretta inclinazione delle bottiglie è garantita dalla bombatura sul fondo, dotato di due scassi per agevolare la presa e lo spostamento della spumantiera.
Il nome è quello scientifico della pianta della fragola, frutto che spesso accompagna il consumo di champagne e il cui fiore ha una forma a cinque petali che viene richiamato dall’aspetto della spumantiera.

Fragaria is a five bottles champagne cooler, handcrafted by master Shuji Nakagawa with the ancient Oke technique.
The perimeter of the container is featured by five grooves that offer a natural support point for the bottles’ neck. The proper inclination of the bottles is guaranteed by the convexity on the bottom, which i salso provided with two holes to facilitate the lifting of the champagne cooler.
The name is the scientific one of the strawberry plant, fruit that often matches a glass of champagne and whose flower has a five-petal shape that is recalled by the appearence of the container.
